The aluminium version stacks across the whole range, lounge chair through 3-seater, something the wood version isn't built to do. What makes it possible: each leg splits into two lines rising from the floor, one continuing straight up to carry the seat, the other peeling away into the armrest, meeting again where the armrest reaches the backrest. Two parts that read as separate are actually one line that splits and rejoins.
